Paul Anthony Henderson Jr. was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. In 2004, during his ninth-grade year, Anthony was diagnosed with epilepsy after experiencing a series of seizures that changed his life forever. One unforgettable day in band class led to a cascade of episodes, including a grand mal seizure that landed him in the hospital and marked the beginning of his journey with epilepsy.
Living with seizures and the effects of medication—like short-term memory loss—was once something Anthony hid in shame. Today, he wears it as a badge of honor. He embraces his identity as an epileptic warrior, using his platform to share his truth, inspire resilience, and create space for conversations that often go unheard.

At Kulture Fuzhn, we believe healing starts when silence ends.
The SPADE Mental Health movement was born from lived experiences of struggle, faith, and renewal — created to serve voices that too often go unheard.
SPADE stands for Suicide, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, and Epilepsy — five paths that reflect real pain, but also real strength.
Our mission is to make mental wellness accessible, faith-filled, and culturally rooted. Through creative tools, conversation, and community, we’re helping people rebuild peace one step — one path — at a time.
